Aims and Scope
Jurnal Inovasi Konstruksi (JIK) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal publishing original research, reviews, and conceptual papers on innovation in civil and construction engineering, including public-works infrastructure engineering.
The scope of the journal covers:
- Structures and construction materials — behaviour of concrete, steel, composite, and bridge structures; material testing; strengthening and retrofit.
- Construction management and BIM — cost, time, and productivity; Building Information Modeling; construction risk and safety.
- Architecture and urban areas — smart architecture, sustainable tourism, disaster mitigation in coastal and settlement areas.
- Water resources and the built environment — water infrastructure, drainage, and sustainable construction technologies.
The journal accepts original research articles, review articles, and case studies in Indonesian or English. Manuscripts outside the above scope are returned without review.
