Peer Review Process

All manuscripts are evaluated through double-blind peer review: the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

  1. Initial check (1–2 weeks). The editor checks the fit with the aims and scope, file completeness, house style, and the similarity report.
  2. Review (4–6 weeks). The section editor assigns at least two reviewers with matching expertise and no conflict of interest.
  3. Editorial decision. Based on the reviewers' recommendations: accept, minor revision, major revision, or decline.
  4. Revision and verification. The author uploads the revision together with a point-by-point response; the editor verifies that all comments are addressed.
  5. Copyediting and production. The accepted manuscript proceeds to copyediting, typesetting, and publication in the nearest issue.

If only one report returns by the deadline, the editor assigns an additional reviewer before any decision is made.
